The AQUAFLEX Sensor measures both soil moisture and soil temperature. It is a 3m (10') long flexible tape that is laid in the root zone, which overcomes the problems associated with measuring the soil moisture content at one point only and in a relatively small amount of soil. AQUAFLEX measures average soil moisture over a 3-meter length and in a cylindrical volume of 6 litres of soil, thus it provides representative and repeatable results with accuracy within 2% of VMC from dry to saturation. AQUAFLEX can be supplied in various configurations to suit the application, from spot readings using a Handheld Reader to full logging capabilities complete with PC software, or alternatively as a component sensor for connection to other manufacturer's loggers and controllers.

The AQUAFLEX Logging Sensor has built in datalogger that makes it a completely self-contained unit that is simple to install and operate. Aquaflex Sensor only (SI.99)
The AQUAFLEX Sensor is specially designed for connection to the AQUAFLEX Handheld Reader and third party controllers, datalogers, telemetry systems and etc. These are an Aquaflex sensor with both frequency and 4-20mA outputs and are suitable for a hand-held reader or incorporation in to an irrigation system or PLC.
