Pedestrian Counting Products

VidiCount Camera

Mount cameras in an overhead position to be able to distinguish between incoming and outgoing traffic, discriminate between individuals in groups, whether in front of each other or as side by side.

Undesirable objects such as trolleys, strollers and prams can be ignored. Each pedestrian count is time stamped, allowing for a detailed breakdown of information for any desired time increment.

Networking of Orbit Cameras

These Cameras can be easily networked together by using a VidiCount Hub. The VidiCount Hub is an 8 port hub which allows the connection of up to 3 (daisy chained) cameras to each port using standard Cat-5 cabling. The Hub provides power to the Cameras, and permits group connectivity from the host system. VidiCount Hubs can be cascaded (much like a Ethernet Hub) to give support for up to 99 cameras from a single connection. Virtually unlimited numbers of cameras can be connected to the same network by utilising specialised equipment. Being 1RU high and 19" rack mountable, the Hub is easily integrated amongst your existing communications infrastructure.
