The hand-held ECH2O Check gives you a quick readout of your installed EC-5, EC-10 and EC-20 sensors. Plug an ECH2O sensor into the ECH2O Check, press the left button, and get an instant reading of water content. You can adjust the calibration of the ECH2O Check for the soil type you are measuring. Readings are displayed in units of volumetric water content (m3/m3), inches per foot (in/ft), or millivolt output.
The ECH2O Check is lightweight (140 g) and comes with a rugged nylon carrying case that attaches to your belt or trousers.
*Note: The ECH2O Check is for use only with the EC-5, EC-10 and EC-20 sensors. It does not currently measure the ECH2O-TE, EC-TM, or EA-10 sensors.
