HOBOware software makes it easy to configure HOBO data loggers, offload data, produce professional graphs and analyze data. HOBOware is offered in Pro and Lite versions for both Windows and Mac computers. HOBOware Pro is recommended for professional users as it supports the widest range of HOBO data loggers and HOBO shuttles, and it provides many time-saving and powerful analysis features. HOBOware Lite is offered for users looking to save money and who don't need all the features of HOBOware Pro. Both versions of HOBOware support all HOBO U-Series loggers, but only HOBOware Pro supports the HOBO U-Shuttle, HOBO Waterproof Shuttle, HOBO Weather Stations or HOBO FlexSmart Loggers. In addition, HOBOware Pro supports a growing list of plug-in Data Assistants and Tools, such as scaling, Growing Degree Days, Grains Per Pound, and Alarms.

Data Import (HOBOware Pro only)

Data can be imported into HOBOware Pro for graphing and analysis in combination with HOBOware data. Data that can be imported includes files exported from BoxCar, other data logger data files, or any other source that can provide data as time-stamped ASCII text. Multiple date and time formats are supported.

Analysis functions

Subset Statistics Tool (HOBOware Pro only) get basic statistics for any subset of data within a graph.

Filters can be used to extract key information from logged data. These Filters actually create new data series, which can be graphed or exported. These Filters tabulate data over user-specified intervals that can be in seconds, minutes, hours, or days.

Real-Time Alarm Software

This plugin tool monitors data from a network of HOBO data loggers and provides real-time alarm notification when conditions exceed user-defined limits. Alarm notifications can be sent to text-enabled cell phones, pagers, or e-mail.
