Software to support the older style H-series dataloggers which had a serial connection to the computer.
BoxCar and BoxCarPro software starter kits are still available to support the serial dataloggers.
BoxCar 3.7 for Windows provides basic launch, data readout, plotting and data export capabilities. This software supports most H-series HOBO and StowAway Loggers and their Shuttles, but does not support HOBO Weather Station, HOBO Water Temp Pro, HOBO LCD, or any U-series loggers. This starter kit includes software, PC interface cable, and software manual.
BoxCar Pro 4.3 supports all HOBO H-series loggers and StowAway loggers. It is a powerful Windows-based program with extensive features for graphing, data analysis, data export and simultaneous management of multiple loggers. This starter kit includes software, PC interface cable and software manual.
Additional features in BoxCar Pro 4.3 include:
graphing facilities that allow you to compare data from multiple files, or multiple parameters on the same graph
axis range control, zoom in and out
powerful filtering funtions can calculate a new series based on mimumum, maximums, averages or totals for a specified period of time (particularly useful for rainfall data or large data sets

Important: Onset have ceased development of BoxCar and BoxCar Pro software to focus on support for their new USB series loggers. Both will operate on Microsoft Vista platforms with certain limitations related to the Help engine. See the Onset web page for details.
