Scottech will be running Campbell Scientific datalogger training course in Christchurch late 2008. Due to the range of datalogger options now available, we have organised this course in a modular fashion, making it suitable for both beginners and more advanced users.
Modules are as follows
Day One Introduction to datalogging an overview of datalogger hardware and basic field collection (no programming) using LoggerNet (or PC208W)
Day Two Programming using Edlog programming CR10(X), CR510 or CR23X dataloggers
Day Three Programming using CRBasic programming CR200 series or CR1000 dataloggers. Introduction to Pakbus networking.

We require that participants in either of the two programming courses do the Introduction to datalogging course, as this will give users an essential understanding of how Campbell datalogger systems operate and their functionality. Participants who have attended other datalogger courses run by Scottech may skip this day.
These courses will have an emphasis on getting familiar with current software and hardware, with many hands on exercises. They provide an excellent opportunity for participants to update their knowledge and skills using Campbell Scientific dataloggers. In addition, participants will have a chance to discuss their own particular applications.
Software
We will be using LoggerNet V3.2 (and PC400) software in class. If participants would like to purchase a licensed copy of software, or upgrade to the latest version, then please contact us. This is not however, required to participate in the course.
Cost
The cost for each day is $300 + GST for the first person from your organisation for each day, and $200 + GST for any additional participants. Training manuals are provided covering all course topics. Lunch, tea and coffee are provided on all days. The workshops are held at our Christchurch and Hamilton offices numbers permitting, otherwise 9am to 4.30pm.
