The durable HOBO Water Temp Pro v2 has 12-bit resolution and a precision sensor for ±0.2°C accuracy over a wide temperature range.
Designed with a durable streamlined case for extended deployment in fresh or salt water, the Water Temp Pro is equipped with an Optic interface for data offload in the field, even when the logger is wet.
Accurate: ±0.2°C accuracy over 0° to 50°C
Easy to Use:
High-speed optic USB interface offloads full logger <30 seconds
Programmable start time/date; User-selectable sampling interval: 1 second to 18 hours
Factory-replaceable battery lasts 6 years (typical); temperature extremes will reduce battery life
Battery level indication at launch
Non-volatile EEPROM memory retains measurements even if battery fails
Blinking LED confirms operation
UV-stable plastic for long-term immersion in fresh or salt water
Optional protective boot for high water flow, flooding, or conditions with debris
Measurement Range: -20° to 50°C in water; -20° to 70°C in air

NIST traceable certification is available at additional cost
Software & Base Station
HOBOware Software and an Optic USB Base Station and Coupler are required for operation of the HOBO Water Temp Pro v2. The HOBO Waterproof Shuttle can also be used as a base station. The Optic USB Base Station offloads full logger in less than 30 seconds with optical interface to logger to eliminate unreliable connectors. Easy USB connection to computer. Operating Range: 0° to 50°C. The Base Station is splash-proof (connection to computer is not)
HOBO Water Temp Pro Protective Boot
The optional protective boot is designed for particularly harsh conditions. The thermoplastic elastomer boot is available in black to minimize visibility underwater or white for minimum solar radiation absorption.
