By using an infra-red IrDA USB adapter you can access the data in the Flowlogger with the provided FlowTool software and download it to your computer for later analysis. Note a computer running Windows 8.1 or older is required. Microsoft has removed IrDa functionality from Windows 10.

Note for Windows 7/8/8.1 users.
Some users have reported that their IrDA adapters no longer work once they have upgraded their computers to Windows 7/8/8.1.
There is a simple fix to this issue;
a) Ensure your computer is connected to the internet.
b) Plug the IrDA adapter into your computer's USB port. Wait for the automatic driver scan to finish.
c) Manually run a Windows Update check - this can be done from the Control Panel. This will sense the IrDA adapter and offer to install the appropriate driver under 'Recommended Updates' as 'USB 2.0 IrDA Bridge'.
d) Select and install the driver as prompted. Reboot your computer if instructed.
Note for Windows 10 users.
Users have reported that their IrDA adapters no longer work once they have upgraded their computers to Windows 10.
Microsoft has removed the IrDa stack entirely from Windows 10. There is no fix to this issue. To use Flow Tool software you must use a version of Windows no later than Windows 8.1.
